WOW!!! what a fantastic day Saturday the 4th of April turned out to be, God was gracious,  the sun shone and hundreds of people turned out to be part of the Easter Fun Day.

There was lots to do in and around the various stalls with activities such as card making, easter egg colouring competition, roller ball game, cross pictures, weaving, not to mention hot cross bun samples.

The Ladybridge Choir sang for us most beautifully and there was dancing from Sally’s Rocking Rebels and the Rise Dance Acadamy.  All this was topped off by street drama from the Passion for Bolton drama group with scenes from Peters Denial, The Annointing of Jesus, At the foot of the cross and  Jesus overturns the tables in the temple being lead up scenes for Passion for Bolton 2016, which is now to be on the 26th March 2016.

There were also lots of stalls giving important information about matters which effect peoples life such as debt and family advice.  The whole day was broadcast by Bolton FM.

There were many excellent comments on the day and how much people enjoyed it,  Joy Kirkpatrict from Create said:

“Just wanted to say a big thank you to you and the team for organising the Easter Saturday celebration. It was so good to be a part of such a vibrant event and so many people were so positive.. God blessed us with the weather and it was a real pleasure to see so many young people enjoying the occasion..”

Thank you to all who participated and all who came along to enjoy the day  we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did..
